Fruited Honey Drops

2/3 cup butter
1 cup joney
2 eggs
2 tablespoons cream
2 cups rolled oats
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon cloves
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1 cup raisins
1/2 cup chopped mixed peel

Cream butter thoroughly; add honey, slowly creaming between each addition. Beat eggs well and add. Add cream and beat well. Mix and sift dry ingredients except oatmeal. Add oatmeal, nuts and fruit. Combine with first mixture. Drop by small spoonsful onto greased baking sheet. Bake in a moderate oven 350 degrees F. until a golden brown.
